Pink Knit Sneakers

The athleisure trend is one of my favorites of all time. Why be uncomfortable when you can be comfortable? Since it’s just starting to warm up here in Chicago, I’m refreshing my spring athleisure wardrobe starting with these pink knit sneakers.

My sneaker collection is pretty dismal admittedly. I have 3 pairs and they’re very sporty looking. Like “I’m ready to hit the gym” sporty. So, I wanted to find a sneaker that wasn’t quite as obvious – something that you could style with joggers to run errands on the weekend. Maybe even something to wear with the right pair of jeans.

When I saw these FitFlop F-Sporty Uberknit Sneakers on Zappos, I felt like they were perfect. I LOVED the color of them. Even though they are a pink knit sneaker, the pink is a really subtle color that’s almost a neutral. Since I love wearing whites, greys, and pastels, this shade works perfectly with my spring wardrobe.

I also love the design. The sole isn’t massive so you don’t look like you’re a basketball player missing the court. They’re incredibly easy to slip on with the knit texture on the body of the shoe. No use of mild force needed to get your foot into the sneaker here! And there are laces to keep them fitted to your foot. It’s a sleek design you can wear to the gym or to the market.

When I travel, I love to be comfortable. I brought these FitFlop shoes along with me to Mexico last weekend. True to form, I ordered them last minute off Zappos (their fast, free shipping saves me all the time). I styled them with joggers and a white top for the flight but then also styled them for the gym while there. It was so convenient not to have to bring two pairs of sneakers!
