This ruffle hem dress is sooo comfortable! It covers everything! I love that the material is washable and won’e fad yet it’s still under $70. It comes in 6 different colors and prints and I didn’t even have to size up for my wide hips. I’m wearing my regular size above and thing that you could easily wear this dress in the early stages of pregnancy and it would be great after birth too!
I also just got these black pumpsand they are so comfortable! They have a padding on the inside so they give your foot a break despite the medium height heels. I love the suede too because I feel like suede tends to last longer than faux leather or leather!
I love it when work tops double as date night tops. This black wrap top is just as versatile as the ruffle hem top I posted last week that’s 30-40% off! It’s made of cotton so the fabric is really comfortable. It also comes in a couple different colors. You can also wrap it so that there’s more coverage or less coverage. This top also comes in pink and grey if you’re not a black kind of girl. Here is what they look like – really unique shades!
I wanted to break out a statement necklacewith this top because it is a basic black top. I never remember to style statement necklaces so I always try to wear them when I have a top or a dress that works really well with them. This statement necklace is old but I’ve linked to a few cute ones I found. Here are some fun options to try.
I’m keeping everything else basic with my favorite gold cuff. I love these bracelets because they have little motivational sayings on them. You can pick from any number of sayings. I have a couple different ones plus I love that they are affordable.
We’re still having cooler weather here in Chicago so I’m breaking out this suede moto jacket again for an added layer in the office. A few weeks ago, I shared another way to style it as well as all the colors it came it. It’s one of my favorite pieces no matter what season it is. It’s great for warmth in winter, great to layer over dresses in spring, and perfect for riding boots in fall. Summer, depending on where you are, might see a few less wears but it’s definitely one of the most stylish pieces I own.
The star of this outfit for me today though is these shoes. These pink suede flats are just amazing. Y’all know that I love a good pair of mules to wear to work. They give your feet a break and are easier to convert to weekend wear. These come in 3 colors if you’re not feeling the pink. They’re still under $100 which is a great price for shoes. Since they often take the most beating of any of our clothing, it makes sense to invest in footwear.
One of the questions I get asked most is what to invest in when you’re first starting off in your career. And this white top is one of those things you can wear year after year. It’s on sale right now so it’s under $50 which is a great deal for a higher quality item. Just make sure you hand dry! It’s also long enough to wear with leggings if you want an elevated weekend look. It’s also part of my new workwear shop that I added where I add pieces that are great for the office to shop!
We’ve had quite the weather here lately. One day it’s below freezing and another day, the river is melting (but it’s back to below freezing the day after that). This olive Dawn Levy coat has really come in handy as we’ve been dealing with so many weather changes!
There’s nothing quite like a little black dress. Whether you’re going out on date night or headed into the office, there is always a time and a place for a dress. Thisblack ruffle dress is a classic office piece that you can wear for years to come. The fabric is also soft so it’s quite comfortable to sit in for 9 hours during the day! If black doesn’t suit you, it also comes in greyand navy.
