I love this skirt! I always love a white button up shirt for the office but I love the chambray texture of this skirt. Chambray is just as wearable as a pair of denim. Style it one way, style it one hundred ways. It goes with almost everything and can be dressed up or dressed down. The tie in the front is a true tie so you can make sure it fits YOU too. I ordered my regular size because I have wide hips but if that doesn’t sound like you, you could probably go down a size! There’s a bit of stretch too!
Since there are limited sizes of this skirt, I linked some of my favorite pencil skirts for the office.
This is one of my favorite style tricks: taking a dress and using it as a skirt. This gives you just as many (and more) styling options as a skirt. This navy polka dot dress is super cute to wear alone, with a cardigan, with my favorite cropped blazer, and now as a skirt. For more ideas, check out my posts from Ireland!
When y’all first told me you didn’t like dresses because they weren’t as wearable I was so surprised! I love them! Not only are they incredibly flattering and comfortable, but they do have just as much life in them as anything else! That’s why I try to style great basics for you that can be taken from date night to work to formal events (lots of versatility).
When it comes to crewneck sweaters, try styling like this, the more slim fit the better. However, a slouchy sweater also looks incredibly cute if it’s what you have! I’ve rounded up some of my favorites that you can use to prolong the wear of your dresses and that also look incredibly cute with a pair of jeans or cut off shorts (for those of you who don’t get fall weather)!
These red suede flatsare something I always gravitate toward whenever I wear navy. I just love the pop of color. They’ve come in handy so often!
This thermal is one of the budget friendly options I like because it’s one of the better quality items at that price point! It comes in 3 colors and I also snagged the beige because it will go with so many things for fall. This is another great basic that you can wear on the weekend and style multiple ways.
I got a bunch of requests for more casual pieces on Instagramand a lot of what I wear to work is casual! I just add closed toe pumps to make it a little more dressed up. But I always look for casual basics that I can wear on the weekend as well as to work! Especially when it’s as easy as swapping out your jewelry or your shoes to completely transform your look. I’m all about easy with a full time job!
This midi dress is incredibly comfortable thanks to an elastic waist and can be dressed up or dressed down really quickly by swapping out a few accessories. I’ve worn this to weddings and wedding events with some strappy heels. I’ve also worn it on the weekend to brunch with sandals! You can size down but if you have a larger chest, I’d stick with your regular size. I have this dress in both my regular size and one size smaller and both fit! So when in doubt, order your regular size.
You can also try styling this dress with a beltand some cute booties! There were just so many options!
Vests mean that fall is coming! I found a vest that is extremely similar to this long black vest one and in cashmere so it’s soft! It also comes in 4 colors. Vests are such a fun way way to layer when it comes to fall though.
This lace cami is amazing! If you don’t own it already, grab it in at least one of the colors. I have in it 3 and they seem to come in handy so often for layering, date night, and more casual settings too. You can definitely wear both this cami and the vest multiple ways.
These white skinny jeans are still my favorite! They go on sale periodically so keep an eye out and watch my Instagram stories! I’ll make sure to post on there when they do! They’re just so flattering.
