Today’s post is going to be a shorter one! One of Matt’s friends is in town so last night we went out to Roka Akor in River North. It’s a sushi spot a few blocks from our apartment that we had yet to try so we figured that was the time! It was pretty good too! Great ambiance and not too outrageously priced. Plus, I love sushi even though I don’t eat fish. I know that sounds weird but they usually have quite a few vegetarian options! It’s not like we were out late but when you’re spending all day in an office, any extracurricular activity (no matter how fun) takes it out of you. Anyone else?
I wanted to share this spring outfit which I teased on Instagram last night! I posted quite a few dresses this week like this pretty pink floral wrap dress and this baby blue shirtdress yesterday. So, I felt like it was time for some pants. I love pants! Come to think of it, I’ve worn them every day, Monday through Friday to work for the last 6 months at least. Probably longer! In a male dominated industry, I find myself way more comfortable in denim. It’s also been freezing since this move to Chicago so I’m usually wearing 2 pairs of pants. That could also be why!
Anyway, I wanted to share this bucket bag because y’all loved the tote version of it so much! I love that this one is a little smaller in case you don’t need to carry your life around with you. It’s also just a really cute shape. Plus, it pairs so perfectly with this $29 tank top which comes in a few different colors! And you’ll notice I’m wearing my favorite white moto again (also seen here and here). Seriously can’t find anything that it doesn’t go with on those breezy spring evenings.
