Navy Blue Wrap Dress (also comes in black with a longer length!) | Tan D’Orsay Pumps | Fendi 3Jours Bag (luxury resale here, new and similar here) | Tortoise Sunglasses | Gold Stacking Rings | Gold Pearl Necklace and Bracelet
After hunting for office appropriate dresses that are still trendy for what seems like forever, I found this navy wrap dress. Not thinking that anyone else would be looking for the same thing, I hadn’t planned on sharing it here on Visions of Vogue. But when I wore it on my Instagram Stories OOTDs, I got so many questions. So, here are the details!
This navy wrap dress makes going to work on Monday just a little easier in my opinion. The fabric, the oversized bow, the deep navy (one of my favorite colors for the office). When I love my outfit, it somehow makes 9 hours in an office (more on my day job here) sound more bearable. Although this dress could also be restyled for the weekend with these heeled sandals!
There’s something about this neckline that makes me feel like (a very young) Meryl Streep in Devil Wears Prada. It’s incredibly chic. Despite it being a wrap dress, there is no cleavage from any angle. If you work with males, you will appreciate that! If you’ve ever wanted to elevate your office style a little with minimum effort, the answer is right here. And it takes just one piece. It’s that easy. Just snag this navy wrap dress.
If you’ve been watching my OOTDs on Instagram Stories, you already know how much wear I get out of these D’Orsay pumps. I’m going to need another pair soon! If you’re more of a classic cut kind of girl, these pumps are also really affordable. Personally, I find the D’Orsay cut to be a little more flattering on your foot. They are definitely one of my 7 essentials for the career woman!
If you guys can see the bridge in the background of these photos, that is the Michigan Avenue bridge! It also happens to be the bridge I walk across to get to work. So, it’s really fitting that we shot this outfit in this spot! Walking over the river is the best part of my day. I love watching the boats and all the people on the Riverwalk! I can’t believe summer is already over. Although this heatwave makes it feel like Chicago is holding on a little longer to summer. And I’m not mad about it!
