Burgundy Turtleneck Tunic ($42) | Black Skinny Jeans | Black D’Orsay Flats (under $60) | Gold Tassel Necklace | Black Satchel (old, similar here and here) | Line Rings Here and Here | Bar Earrings (I wear these all the time!) | Lipstick in Miss Conduct | Sunglasses
YAS. This burgundy turtleneck is everything! If you had to pick one item to live in for the rest of fall, it would be this tunic. Trust me. It’s that amazing. Wear it to work, style it on the weekend, sleep in it. I don’t care. Just know you need it.
If you know me, you know about my aversion to turtlenecks. I always feel like they’re choking me (cowl necks are my jam though)! Maybe that’s something I’ll get over now that I’ve moved to Chicago but we’ll see about that. This wine colored top doesn’t give me that sensation at all. The fit of the neck and the fabric make it super comfortable. The tunic shape at the bottom also leaves plenty of room to cover any problem areas too!
If you haven’t see this tassel necklace before, it’s an amazing statement piece. You can untie it completely and style it in multiple ways. It works really well layering too. I’m no expert on cold weather wear (yet), but I have a feeling this necklace is going to be on repeat this year to spice up the sweaters I plan to live in! Along with all the plaid scarves ever made. And puffy coats.
I mean seriously, there was frost on the ground last night in Chicago. Doesn’t Mother Nature know that it’s only October? I’m so used to wearing super cute Halloween costumes but am thinking I might need to be an eskimo this year. There is a rumor there may even be snow. CRAZY!
