If I’m wearing this color combination to death lately, I’m clearly not concerned. It combines 3 of my 4 favorite colors in a way that isn’t seen as much (one guess as to what the fourth color is). At least, it’s not as common as things like denim on denim, print mixing stripes and plaid, or rose quartz… anything right now. While I’ve been known to rock all of those things on occasion, I like to change it up too!
While the classics are great, I love wearing an outfit that catches someone’s eye and causes them to think to themselves “I’m going to try that combination when I get home“. If I can do anything right as a blogger, it’s provide inspiration for all of y’all and be helpful! Forget about all the stuff. I think of fashion as an art and the more I can inspire through my passion, the happier I find myself.
So, if I’ve inspired you to try this color combination, let me walk you through my thought process when I put it together. In general, I always balance my outfits. You’ll notice if I have a specific color somewhere in my outfits, I’ll usually have it another place too like on my sunglasses. Personally, I like how it acts as a frame for your outfit. It also makes it look like you paired your combination with intention – a sure sign of a fashionista! I also like mixing in one statement color like this burgundy with a bunch of neutrals. It’s effortlessly chic!
