I feel like everyone has tassel or pom pom fever right now. With everyone dressing like they just walked out of a Cinco de Mayo party, it can be hard to assess if this trend is here to stay. If this post on Instagram is any indication, it is. Poms on poms on poms! Let’s keep it going with this pom mini dress!
Since we just got back from Tulum, I wanted to write this travel guide before I forgot everything! I’ve gotten so many requests for tips specifically for this destination so having it in one place will be helpful to you. I’ve included tons of photos, a few different hotel recs, what to see, and what to eat!
Bathing suits are great… until about 10 minutes before I have to put one on. Having let my winter body get a little out of hand this year, our trip to Tulum came out of nowhere. It’s just starting to be warm in Chicago so my body is all out of whack. While I work on getting that in check, I’m leaning on swimwear that is a little more forgiving: one piece swimsuits.
Following yesterday’s post, I feel like it’s only appropriate to talk about what to wear on vacation after you’ve spent a day at the beach. Tight itchy fabrics are out. And TBH, pulling on some denim shorts just sounds like torture. Chances are, your skin needs a little TLC so lather on that Aloe Vera. Then, slip into this watercolor dress.
It never ceases to amaze me that we spend 5 days a week working for every 2 we have off. Whoever thought up our work schedule was a masochist. I think we all need a little more vacation in our lives. While this will probably never happen, a girl can dream… about what to wear on vacation! Since we just got back from Mexico, let’s start there with a beach cover up!
