Taking a break from the 12 days of giving series to talk holiday party dresses! This season is one of my favorite time of year. Everything is decorated and everyone is in a good mood. Plus, there are a million things going on! My inner serial planner dies (of happiness)! What can be stressful is finding something to wear to all of the events. I’ll gladly take that on though. It’s a small price to pay, right?
If your favorite party dress has been worn to a few too many parties or you don’t have time to find the perfect outfit, this post is for you! From a dress to a jumpsuit, Rent the Runway have so many beautiful options to slip into for just one night. What could make you feel more like Cinderella than this emerald green wrap dress?
All 3 of these looks today are from Rent the Runway. I try to avoid investing in a holiday dress every season. By the time next year comes around, I don’t much feel like wearing the thing I wore a year ago let alone hoping it still fits! I’d much rather spend less on a taste of something new.
The first look today features this gorgeous Temperley London emerald dress. The subtle cutouts are my favorite detail plus it has sleeves. Anything to help with warmth in the winter, right? The ruffled hem is so stunning when you move too. Obviously, the color makes it a top contender for anything Christmas related!
My second outfit screams New Year’s Eve! Hello sparkle! This sequined shift dress by Cynthia Rowley is exactly how I would want to ring in the new year. Paired with a fun burgundy clutch (will burgundy ever go out of style? No.), it’s the perfect way to shimmy your way into 2017.
This third little red dress caught my eye immediately after I walked into the Chicago RTR store. The bow on the back – I die! If this doesn’t make you smile, I’ve lost all hope. It has pockets (no girl can pass that up!) and the fit and flare cut makes it uber flattering.
If you haven’t tried Rent the Runway before, it’s so easy! You can shop online for the look you’re going for OR go into one of their locations if they have one near you. If you order from their website, they send you 2 sizes so you don’t have to worry about fit. Each dress can be rented at a fraction of the cost (save that $ for holiday gifts!). If you need accessories, they have those too! And really beautiful ones! All of my jewelry and clutches from today are from RTR.
Going into the store gives you a little royal treatment too. You get a stylist to help you put together your look! They even can pull outfits for you based on what you’re looking for before you get there to make it super quick. The stylists can help you narrow it down to the perfect dress for the occasion and pretty it up with the perfect statement jewels.
Do you have a favorite look from today’s post? Do you have your holiday and NYE outfits already picked out?
