Exposed Brick and Comfortable Thermal Tees

Blue double layer thermal by Free People

White Moto Jacket (only $35!)¬†| Blue Thermal Top | White Skinny Jeans | Espadrille Wedges | Taupe Leather Tote | Tortoise Sunglasses | Lipstick in ‘Swag’

As I mentioned a few weekends ago, we are starting the process to look for a new home! We had our first 2 meetings with realtors and one of the questions that came up was if we liked exposed brick. I think the look on my face said it all. I don’t! I totally get that it’s some people’s style, just not mine right now!

That said, we found this wall while in Asheville and I loved it! So, maybe I do like exposed brick. I just don’t want to wake up next to it. What are we looking for in a home? I don’t think either Matt or I could eloquently put that into words. At least, not words that are searchable in MLS listings or so I’m told. So until we find something, I’ll devote a few minutes a day to scrolling through photos of homes on various home apps!

This outfit is an appropriate outfit for a home conversation. It’s the perfect weekend look. Very casual and very comfortable. As I mentioned, I wore this while we wandered¬†through Asheville! This double layered thermal puts a fun little twist on the basics. However, if you’re looking for a basic thermal, this one is my favorite!

I also wanted to keep my look very neutral so I restyled this ivory leather jacket I’ve been wearing so much (also styled here and here). I honestly never thought I’d be this into a white jacket. It just goes so well with all things spring! It’s a great piece to layer over floral dresses or wear just like this!

Easy to wear weekend outfit for spring and summer.

  1. I really love how you put a whole new meaning to “casual”! This outfit is really cute and it starts with the comfiest basics. The jacket and shoes really play up the whole thing. Such a great look. Now if only you could figure out what you want in a home as much as you do in an outfit ;) Can’t wait to see what you end up picking. I’m sure your new space will be gorgeous!
