You guys already know my thoughts on peep toe boots when you’re in the Midwest. So let’s talk about more close toed ones! Like these super comfortable (not even exaggerating) taupe booties by Kork-Ease.
As Matt and I were walking down to the Riverwalk on day, I had these Kork-Ease boots on. I told him that they were surprisingly comfortable. I’d never tried a pair until now since LA climates are different. Seems like I’ve been saying that a lot after my recap on how my life has changed since moving to Chicago!
Of course Matt muttered some less than enthused response like “that’s good babe”. He wasn’t excited enough so I stressed “like really comfortable”. Again, another like warm response came out of his mouth so I gave up. He didn’t appreciate them until I could walk around at his pace all day without having to slow down!
Flat boots are usually tough for me to pick out. I’m a lover of heels (which Kork-Ease also makes) but I knew I needed a refresh on flats after last year. Mine were demolished from all the salt and snow. I loved the cut at the ankle on these and that the zipper was in the back. The taupe color is also so perfect for matching with so many color tones. They are going to be so great for my walk to work this fall when it’s a little too cold for Nikes.
Do you own any Kork-Ease Boots? Have you given them a try?
