I’m no expert on outerwear but I do love light jackets. There’s so much versatility without the restrictive weight of a full blown puffer. During the one week I spent in Chicago last Christmas, I felt like I was in a straight jacket 100% of the time I was outside. This camel jacket offers plenty of freedom though – the lapels and belted waist allow for lots of movement. Jumping jacks even – if I had any desire to ever do them after middle school gym class.
To contrast the flowing jacket, I paired it with high waisted jeans by DSTLD. There’s something about them that makes a girl look incredibly feminine. Although, it could just be the leopard pumps which are some of my favorites. I searched high and low for the perfect pair (I’m uber picky about the cut on the foot). After months, I landed on these and have never looked back!
PS. I’m really loving the color camel lately!

I really love high waisted jeans these days too! It’s becoming so common, that when I look at some of the jeans I used to wear, I cringe.
Camel is such a great neutral to throw into the mix. I’m loving it these days too!

I’ve really gotten into light jackets too! I think it’s the spring weather that is so compelling plus in Kansas you actually need one so I buy like 50 because, duh.
