I didn’t mean to hold out on you! It seems wedding guest dresses are in high demand. I update my wedding guest rounds up regularly here but it seems like y’all wanted something new!!
I waited until Day 16 only because I really wanted to shoot at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar. I had see an image of this staircase on Pinterest and knew it had to be a special dress to shoot there. I loved how the colors of this teal floral flutter sleeve maxi dress looked against this scene. It was so fun to create these, experiment with new angles and edits, especially on the Fairmont property which is stunning (more to come and another glimpse in yesterday’s post).
Onto this dress, Eliza J has long been one of my favorite brands. One of the things I find myself repeating throughout this ‘A Dress A Day’ series is that I gravitate toward brands with high quality. It makes the most sense for us to have pieces that we can rewear over and over and don’t fall apart after one use! I used to shop budget friendly items in my 20s but got so frustrated that after one wedding or one night out, something would start unraveling and a dress I loved would become unwearable. I’ve never had that issue with Eliza J, not to mention the fit is incredible. This flutter sleeve dress is no different and it travels incredibly well (I didn’t need to steam it in the hotel) which is often such a struggle in wedding season. I also highly recommend checking out this coral maxi dress which might be my favorite dress of all time. Here are a few more of my Eliza J favorites!
And here are my wedding guest dresses for spring and summer weddings!
I also wanted to mention how great this crossbody bag is. It’s the perfect neutral piece to go with everything you need this summer and I love the chain it has for a little extra detail. It’s incredible quality and vegan! Y’all already know how much I love these ginko leaf earrings (also seen in Day 2 of this series). Pick up some of the 50% extra off sale items too if you’re shopping this weekend!
Do you have weddings coming up this year? Where are they?
