One of the things I hear most from you all is about versatility. None of us want to invest in pieces that can only do one thing. We want to be able to wear something time and time again, over and over, this way and that way. So I really wanted to dedicate a day from ‘A Dress A Day’ to dresses that can do just that. Dresses you can wear during the day but accessorize differently and elevate them to the perfect night look.
This sweater tank dress is an absolute dream. Trust me, it’s incredible. I was NOT sold on this style and how it would look on me but let me tell you, putting it on changed my life. Matt and I couldn’t get through a round of photos without someone stopping me to ask where it was from too! The neutral look is very in right now and I love that I found this to share with you girls. It’s an absolute winner.
I’ve been trying to include a lot of Revolve dresses in this series as well because they’re one of my favorite places to shop. The pieces are always fantastic quality (they carefully curate brands) and the shipping is fast. Revolve is by far my favorite place to get cute, trendy pieces from. There and Shopbop who is currently running a sale which I would highly recommend checking out! Here are some more favorite ‘day to night’ dresses you can wear multiple ways:
The easiest way to dress up these items is with a good pair of ankle strap heels. Even the t-shirt dresses go to ‘LA chic’ when you style them with these heels that I love that you’ve seen here and here. They are phenomenal in comfort and they never go out of style (they’re brought back every single year) and I found them on sale here!
I also had a little fun mixing up the accessories with these gold aviator sunglasses, burst earrings, and this shoulder bag which has the coolest strap texture ever. It’s a great size and fits all the essentials and again, can go from day to night! If you haven’t checked out my spring accessories round up, it’s worth a look. You can even add a few fun new accessories to your current wardrobe to give yourself a mini refresh!
What is your go to ‘day to night’ outfit? Have you worn this style of dress before? Reminder that if you’re missed any posts from this series, you can catch up here!
