We all know the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is the best shopping event of the year. With thousands of items on sale, it can be overwhelming to get to items before they sell out. So if you don’t have time to comb through hundreds of pages of items, let me be your guide. Here are the 10 must have items from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale to buy NOW before they sell out.
(you can click on this image to shop!)
A few things to remember about the #NSale:
- Don’t be afraid to place multiple orders. Buy these highly anticipated items now and come back to browse some more when you have time. There’s no downside to this with free shipping!
- The Nordstrom return policy is very forgiving. If you’re unsure of your size, order multiple and return what doesn’t work for you. If you’re unsure of an item, order it. If you don’t like it, return it. I included sizing recs just in case if it helps! Better safe than sorry!
- This is a marathon shopping event so get ready. You can check my NSale landing page for daily updates as well as my Instagram and LTK!
Here are the 10 must have items from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!
1. Barbour Quilted Jacket ($249.90 now, $400 after the sale)
Barbour is one of the best jacket brands I’ve found. The quality is always impeccable and this quilted jacket is both perfect for layering and transitional seasons. The olive green color is also stunning. Sizing is true to size.
2. Halogen Black Top ($29.90 now, $59 after the sale)
With most of us working from home for the foreseeable future, I love just how versatile this classic black top is: wear it to work under a pencil skirt, wear it on the weekend with denim, layer it under a blazer for an interview, or throw it on with your sweatpants for your next Zoom conference call. It does it all. It also comes in 4 colors and at $29.90, it’s a price you just can’t beat. I highly recommend picking up 2 colors and getting your true size (you don’t want this type of shirt too fitted).
3. Treasure & Bond Turtleneck Sweater ($49.90 now, $79 after the sale)
Picking a sweater from this year’s sale was a tough choice (full round up here). This burnt orange turtleneck is here to stay and this brand still remains one of my favorite from last year’s sale with no worries about it being too short. It also comes in a really beautiful oatmeal color as well as black. Sizing is true to size.
4. Barefoot Dreams Leopard Cardigan ($88.90 now, $134 after the sale)
If you don’t own a Barefoot Dreams cardigan yet, then treat yourself and snag this leopard cardigan in one of the 3 colors (the other 2 are neutral). I included the leopard in the top 10 because last year’s 2 leopard cardigans were one of the first items to go. That being said, you can’t go wrong with ANY Barefoot Dreams cardigan in the sale… or in life to be honest. I could live in this magical material because it is pure wizardry how soft it is.
If solids are more your thing, there is the Cozy Lite Cardigan in 4 beautiful shades of neutral. This long cardigan is my pick if you tend to wear a lot of beiges or warm tones.
And lastly, this circle cardigan – I used to have 3: grey, blue, and beige and will be replacing this year!
My recommendation? Grab what you can in your size or a size up for a cozy fit (both will work with the way the cardigans fit) because my guess is Barefoot Dreams will sell out fast.
5. Stuart Weitzman Over the Knee Boots($499.90 now, $795 after the sale)
Stuart Weitzman is the ultimate over the knee boot because the quality is incredible so they will last longer than any other boot, trust me. I wore mine through 3 Chicago winters, even in the snow. Not that I recommend wearing suede in the snow, but over the knee boots single handedly saved me from the cold temps. Instead of buying a new pair of boot every year, you will only need to buy them once so over time your cost per wear will be lower. Mine were in great condition before the move and could have lasted through 3 more winters! There is a 3.5 inch heel version and a 2.25 inch heel in this year’s sale depending on your height preferences. If these are not in budget or you live in a warmer place, try these knee high suede boots for a similar look for less.
I size up a half size so I can wear these thick socks (which are the best).
6. Barefoot Dreams Throw Blanket ($104.90 now, $158 after the sale)
I personally love this plaid Barefoot Dreams blanket because it reminds me of an Hermes print. It’s still neutral enough to display in almost every home and has the same classic fabric. It also comes in black.
I will say that Barefoot Dreams is here in a big way for this year’s NSale so if you’re looking for solids, don’t miss out on this one (I have 2 of these). It comes in 7 colors as well so there is a color for everyone.
And lastly, this diamond tassel throw blanket is also another stunning option.
7. NuFACE Facial Device Set ($233.16 now, $348 regularly)
This is the NuFACE deal to end all NuFACE deals. If you haven’t heard me rave about what the NuFACE did for my forehead wrinkles, watch my NuFACE highlight on Instagram. GAME CHANGER (and a safer/cheaper alternative to Botox). So why is this deal so amazing? Here’s why. While there is the Trinity and the body sculpting tool included in the sale too, this kit takes the decision making out of what you need today versus in the future by allowing you to treat larger areas with the mini NuFACE AND fine lines and wrinkles around eyes/lips/sensitive areas with the FIX tool. The mini contains the same micro current as the Trinity but is better for traveling too. The one downside of the mini is that NuFace doesn’t make attachments for fine lines like it does for the Trinity. However, since this kit comes with the FIX (fine lines) device, you won’t need the attachment anyway!! Note that these devices aren’t usually sold together which is why there is no “after the sale” price!! If this sells out, the Trinity is still a great deal and you can always buy the attachment down the line to treat fine lines! This is what I use! And for anyone looking to sculpt and contour your body, this is the lowest price I’ve seen on the Body Skin Toning Device.
8. Marc Fisher Suede Booties ($99.90 now, $189.95 after the sale)
These are the best looking suede booties in the sale and they come in 5 colors. Marc Fisher is also my personal favorite brand because the quality is a level above the rest. The pointed toe elongates the leg and they’re the most comfortable. I usually size up a half size to wear with thicker socks.
Marc Fisher also included a similar bootie with a curved back (also in 5 colors) in the sale if you’re looking for softer lines. It’s another killer boot.
If you’re looking for budget friendly options, there are a few so make sure to check out my favorites here. The NSALE is the best time to stock up on your boots and booties for the season so don’t miss it!
9. Adidas Leopard Sneakers ($49.90 now, $85 after the sale)
If you’re a Nike loyalist, there are 7 Nike sneakers in the NSALE too to check out.
10. Spanx Faux Leather Leggings ($64.90 now, $98 after the sale)
There is a reason everyone talks about (and wears) these faux leather leggings all fall and winter. They are the best sculpting leggings I’ve ever tried and give me the best shot at a thigh gap. That’s coming from someone who has never had one. If you prefer the leather to look smooth, size up. If you prefer maximum shaping, stick to your regular size. My advice? If you don’t have a pair already, pick up 2 because you’ll wear them so much. I’ll be replacing mine this year!
