Soyou got another wedding invitation. It’s perfectly sealed, the calligraphy is on point, maybe even a little gold foiled, and the venue is a dream. You read through the love-drunk invitation and see “Black Tie Optional” listed for attire. You freeze. WTF does that mean? You’re telling me what you want me to wear but then are making it optional? WTF.
With wedding season ahead, I wanted to round up some of my favorite dresses to wear as a guest. Matt and I have been on the wedding tour for the last few summers. As professional wedding guests, I know how stressful it can be to find something to wear to every event. Bridal showers, bachelorette parties, and then the main event! Just because Valentine’s Day is over, doesn’t mean you have to take a vacation on dating your significant other. I constantly try to get Matt to tell me what he wants to do but rarely do I get any kind of feedback. Usually, just grunts. Therefore, I enlisted Matt to write this post about 5 date night ideas guys actually get excited about. The results were interesting. I was pleasantly surprised to see I’ve at least executed 2 of the 5, phew! Here’s what he said…
Last weekend was my little sister’s bridal shower! If you followed along on InstaStories or saw the gingham goodness on Tuesday (hello spring!), you knew that. I flew back to California to celebrate my favorite bride and help my mom throw her the best shower ever. As MOH, I took this task very seriously. With wedding season around the corner, I thought I’d share the 5 things that I think make for a great bridal shower.
