Friday Five: 5 Times He Doesn’t Want You to Talk to Him

Today’s post was a little outside my comfort zone. If you saw Matt and I talking about this on Instagram Stories last night, then you know he did all the work for this post. I let him have free reign of topics. And this is what he felt most passionate about (at least at this point in time). So here goes!

(Written by Matt)

Jenna invited me back to speak on Visions of Vogue about whatever topic I wanted. Big risk on her part. This time around, I wanted to provide insight on something I felt both men and women would benefit from. What is it? The 5 times in life that he doesn’t want to talk. I know. This sounds a little harsh. I’m sure there are some ladies out there that are in denial, thinking to themselves “my man isn’t like that. He always wants to talk to me.”

So, I guess I’m just glad so many people read it!

So I probably should have written about the 5 best vegetarian restaurants in Los Angeles while I lived there. But lately, I’ve found myself missing the food more than ever. I’ve also been missing the weather but that’s a whole different story. If you don’t already know, I’m vegan-ish. Chicago eats just aren’t the same. There are a lot less juice bars and a lot more pizza places. That’s no surprise. Before I get to the list, here is what happened this week on the blog:

Let’s get back to LA. Oh, LA. After living there for over a decade, this list of restaurants comes out on top every time. When we are traveling to a new place, I’m always scanning for plant based restaurants. Sometimes, it can be a struggle. So for my fellow vegetarians and/or people just looking for a healthy meal at a super trendy spot, I wanted to round up this list! We try a good balance of places since Matt is definitely a meat eater (he’s a Midwest boy through and through). We’ll go to a spot he wants to visit but he’ll always throw in a vegetarian-friendly or vegan place too. Here is the list!
