I’m loving this Halogen sweater! The pleats at the sleeve and the bubble sleeves make this basic not so basic. I also styled this over a regular button down top here if you want to see another way to style it! It’s super soft as well and runs true to size. It can be worn tucked into your pants or alone and can be styled with any kind of bottom! The coral color is pretty subtle too so it can be worn with all your neutrals (beige, grey, black, white, blush, etc.). It’s just a really easy lightweight sweater to transition into spring with! I can just see this now with a white midi skirt!
When I asked for requests a few weeks ago, I got requests for more looks that had pants! This is one!! Remember that almost every single OOTD that I share on Instagram can be styled with business slacks or a pencil skirt. I’m all about versatility in my closet. I want to make sure I have pieces that can be worn with these bottoms should I ever go back into a corporate environment too! So even though I might not be required to dress as corporate for work, I try to make sure that the things I do wear can be worn in both (and usually on the weekend too)!
If you’re looking for a Valentine’s Day outfit, I just might have found it! Even if you’re not, I love this top! It makes such a great statement while still being relatively subtle. It also comes in black and navy if the red color isn’t your thing. What I liked most about it was the neoprene material. It makes it so the sleeves actually keep their shape versus collapsing. Definitely a plus! Both the black and navy also make great options for the office.
I kept the rest of the outfit simple with my favorite skinny jeans. You could easily do this top with any business slacks too. The black pumps also work with both! These black pumps are such classics and I feel like everyone who works in an office needs them. They’re definitely an essential for any female professional!
Welp, I learned my lesson! Today it’s back in pants for me. While yesterday’s skirt ensemble was super cute, it was a little challenging considering it was -6 degrees when I walked to work. I need at least 24 hours to de-thaw! Maybe I’ll try again next week when it’s supposed to warm up. And by warm up I mean a high in the 30s…
This white faux wrap topwas one that I got so many questions about last week! I was wearing it during one of my Instagram Story sessions and got so many messages about it that I shared it already but wanted to re-style it again for the office. It can easily be worn untucked (as I showed in this morning’s stories). However, I really love the tucked look for the office! The wrap look does so many wonders for a girls figure too and the material of the top is super comfy. It’s lightweight so you won’t get too hot but it’s also soft at the same time.
This camel beauty is one of my favorites lately too. If you missed yesterday’s blog post, I shared another way you can style this beige blazer. It’s such a closet staple especially for the girl who is in a corporate office. You can style it with blues, basics, and even burgundy. I’m going to be re-styling this one a lot and can’t wait to wear it with dresses/skirts in spring too!
I also got asked about the gold bar earrings I wore last week! While they’re (unfortunately) old, I found these long bar studswhich are very similar. I love that they are longer because it makes more of a statement. You can turn them horizontal too so they act more like an ear crawler. It definitely catches people eye!
Isn’t this burgundy lace topthe absolute cutest?! I love the color and the lace detail on the sleeves and across the front. This burgundy lace top also comes in 4 colors! If I’m being honest though, this is my favorite color! It’s such a great holiday/winter look and you can break it out for Valentine’s day too! I also found a long sleeve version of this burgundy lace top!
I mentioned this in my OOTD video but you could easily swap out the jeans for business slacks or a pencil skirt. Since the material is flowy and lightweight, you could tuck this into a pencil skirt which would give you that hourglass shape. I love tops that you can wear multiple ways! You can never have too many tops you can take from business to business casual to the weekend. This one is just so cute!
I’m wearing my favorite beige pumps and last I checked they were on sale so scoop them up! They’re so comfortable with the modest heel. I also really love the way they’re cut. It’s a little different than a classic pump but I feel like it elongates my legs just a little. Who doesn’t want that?
