Grey has to be my favorite color. Although I do love burgundy, I always come back to layering shades of grey together in colder months. This longer grey cardigan is a little bit of a change up for me but I like how the length tends to slim me a little bit more. It’s a lightweight cardigan so I’ll be layering a coat over this on my walk to work but it’s a great thickness to keep you warm in the office. And I always need that! It comes in 4 colors too and the burgundy and beige are also really great pieces for layering.
These black patent leather shoes are also taking me a little outside my comfort zone but I love how classic they are for the office. You could also wear these easily with business pants and they are mules so they’re really easy to slip on and off. The pointed toe also helps elongate your legs! I’m also loving the black velvet and burgundy velvet versions.
I hope you guys liked how I showed you the charcoal scarfI will wear over it too! This scarf is seriously my favorite. So much so that it made my list of the 9 best scarves for fall. It’s only $48 so I own it in 3 colors. It’s a legit must have for anyone in a cold climate because it’s so warm.
There are those days when I wear outfits that are really inside my comfort zone. Then, there are other days when I wear things that aren’t. As a relatively curvy girl, bodycon dresses aren’t typically something I have in my closet. From yesterday’s post, you might notice flowy fits are more my thing. Until this grey ruched bodycon dress.
So excited to share the rest of our bedroom design with y’all today (see here for part one)! It’s been a minute since I posted a sneak peek of the room design but I absolutely loved this process. And my husband definitely approves of the results. I teamed up with Havenly on this project – an online design service that takes care of creating a concept and facilitating all the steps through shipping the products! I totally expected to have to research the little detail pieces but Havenly went above and beyond to design TWO complete bedroom concepts!
Whenever I think of the word ‘blouse’, I immediately cringe. As a little girl, I associated blouses with work and my mom (not in a bad way, just in a serious going to the office way). I’d later learn that work is a necessary evil and while I’m not nearly as similar to my mother as my sister is, I’ve picked up a few things over the years.
