So obviously, I’m many years out of college. But with so many people talking about “back to school” mania, I can’t help but think about the good ‘ole days. So, here are 5 must have items that I would buy if I was headed back to the classroom this fall. If only I could do it all over again!
As always, you can check out all my Friday Five posts here. They are a “grab bag” of topics so if you’re not quite sure what you’re in the mood for, enjoy! You can always get to them on the menu bar above (under Lifestyle). Otherwise, check out all the new drop downs on the menu bar that I’ve added to make it easier to find what you’re looking for in Fashion, Travel, Home, Beauty, and Lifestyle categories!

A few weeks ago someone threw me a real curveball over on Instagramand asked me what I was looking forward to most in the second half of 2017. Now that we’re 6 months into the year (and a little beyond that), it only makes sense that we should do a check in. Right? It took me a few minutes to figure out what I was most excited for. Usually, I’m so focused on getting through today or this week that I don’t really stop to look a month out or even through December. So here’s what I’m looking forward to most.
Ever since we moved last fall, our books have been sitting in boxes in a hall closet. Feeling uninspired and focusing more on other rooms in our home, finding a bookshelf wasn’t at the top of my list. I didn’t think I missed seeing them. That is, until I found this one and decorated it on Sunday afternoon. Hence the post on how to decorate a bookshelf!
Another Tuesday, another Trendspin Linkup. For today’s post you’re going to have to get creative with me. The theme is ‘Summer Prints and Patterns’ and I chose a three dimensional pattern. Which is totally taking me back to my Mechanical Engineering days of talking lasers and physics daily. Thank god that’s over. It’s called lace and it’s this under $50 off the shoulder.
