I know, I know. No one wants a sale that reminds them colder weather is coming the first week of July. I feel you girls. But so many of you voted for Nordstrom Anniversary Sale posts and some of the deals are good that here we are. Here are my must haves from the NSale!
If you have any questions at all, end me an email at email@example.com. Whether you’re deciding between products, have special sizing concerns, or just want some personalized recommendations, I’m HAPPY to help you navigate the sale thoughtfully. I am all about making sure you guys get THE BEST DEAL possible. I’m not just trying to sell!
When you can shop.
If you haven’t heard yet, here are the dates you can shop:
July 11: Icon and Ambassador Members can shop online at 12:30PM EST
July 12: Everyone with a Nordstrom credit card can shop online
July 19: Everyone can shop
I’d strongly recommend shopping online. The selection and sizes were extremely limited in stores. Some of the items had only one left in XXL today and Icon and Ambassador members were the only ones shopping! As a disclaimer, I do earn a very small commission of purchases made through my links. I appreciate your support and my promise to you is never to lead you astray. As always, I will promote things I believe in on Visions of Vogue – even during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
Let’s get started. If you don’t see something below, make sure it’s not on my DO NOT BUY list!
This will be the biggest category since I’m including every single style of cardigans in one spot. Since I live in sweaters for 9 months of the year, it made sense for me to invest the most in sweaters. There were A LOT in the sale and A LOT of them were very itchy and uncomfortable. I literally felt every sweater on the floor yesterday for this purpose. None of the below are itchy and almost all come in multiple colors. These are the best investment (even though the prices are under $100) sweaters in the sale this year.
When it comes to boots, it really depends on what you need. There are a few more options than I wanted to link here but they’re very similar so pay attention to the slight details and what YOU like. I tried to call them out where possible. As always, I was really impressed by the Vince Camuto selection – I usually size up a half size. Marc Fisher also makes great OTK boots that are better than Steve Madden (I just can’t with Steve Madden OTKs) if you’re not ready to splurge on Stuart Weitzman. That being said, if you have the budget, I do love the Stuart Weitzman boots in this year’s sale. There is one BP budget friendly bootie too!
I combined this category since most of us are looking for boots anyway. That being said, I was VERY impressed by some of the slip on sneakers and the Madewell mules (SO IMPRESSED and at that price point, they are a STEAL).
READ THE CAPTIONS BELOW! Everything is classic (mostly black but multiple colors available).
The beauty buys were good but nothing that was a MUST HAVE FOR EVERY SINGLE PERSON. Definitely must haves for certain types of people OR if you’re looking for something in particular OR just ran out of something. This is why I phrased almost everything below with an “if you’re”. Hope that helps!
These are my winter approved items. Nothing is crazy heavy so you could totally wear this in warmer climates. I didn’t feel like any of the heavy coats were worth it.
Most of the scarves were really thin and itchy. Most of the bags weren’t worth it (stay tuned for my post tomorrow). BUT I liked these!
Buy the Barefoot Dreams throws immediately in the colors you want. I have one at home and one in my office at work!
Who better to shop for men than a man? These were Matt’s recs as far as what he would actually spend money on.
