The Sephora Beauty Insider Sale kicks off today for Rouge members who get 20% off everything site wide! Not a Rouge member? Your day will come on May 2nd. I’ll be sharing my favorites on Instagram today and on May 2nd so follow along for more details and tips! Meanwhile, my top 10 items to grab in this sale are below!
1. REN Overnight Recovery Balm (safe).
It’s been killing me not to share this with you guys. I started testing it a few weeks back and was obsessed after one use. If you have dry skin and are trying to recover from winter, get this overnight recovery balm immediately. Even if you have dry patches – spot treat with this. It’s the first product ever that has left my skin feeling insanely hydrated all the way until the morning and through my workout. I love the REN Day Cream as well and would highly recommend both if you need a good moisturizer or face lotion.
2. Tarteist Double Take Eyeliner.
If you love eyeliner but struggle with precise lines let along a wing, get this double ended eye liner. One side is liquid and one side is gel. The gel end is great for tight-lining your eyes. The liquid end has a felt tip that has not too much but not too little give. Seriously, if you’ve been on the hunt for the perfect eyeliner, this is the answer.
3. Hourglass Vanish Foundation.
One of the most common requests I’ve gotten is for a full coverage foundation. The Hourglass Vanish Stick is my absolute favorite. It goes on so easily and gives your skin this incredibly natural looking texture – like a silky, satin velvet. It wears incredibly well and the coverage is so solid you can even use it as a concealer in a pinch. It doesn’t cake or feel heavy on your face either and still looks amazing after an 8 hour day. Trust me. There are a ton of shades as well so your odds of finding the perfect match are good.
4. Briogeo Deep Conditioning Mask (safe).
I think this is my 4th Sephora sale where I’ve repurchased this Deep Conditioning Mask. It’s that good. I leave it on in the shower on shave days and it revives my hair without making it too heavy or greasy once I get out and dry it. Generally speaking, the Briogeo products are solid. I also use their heat protectant and have heard amazing things about their scalp revival products!
5. bareMinerals Gen Nude Lipstick.
Not a new find for me but something I happened to find on Instagram and you guys loved! This bareMinerals Gen Nude Lipstick in ‘swag’ is the perfect nude for just about every outfit this spring. It’s not drying either and won’t flake off like a lot of liquid lipsticks. It’s just really easy to carry in your bag for whenever you need a little extra color. It is stunning! It was a tough call between this one and the Lawless Matte Liquid Lipstick but I’ve been dabbling in more neutral lip colors lately and I like Lawless for bold.
6. Kopari Coconut Melt (safe).
Dry legs? Not anymore! Try this coconut melt for pretty much anything on your body. It’s creamy and melts in the warm of your hands. Warning, it’s so hydrating that I’d give yourself as long as you can between putting it on and slipping into your jeans. However, it will get rid of ashy calves in a heartbeat. Don’t believe me? Try the travel size to start. That’s another one of my Sephora sale tips, raid the mini and travel size section to sample as many products as you can!
7. Tarte Eyelash Primer.
If you want long lashes, get this eyelash primer. It’s legit the best thing. I don’t curl my eyelashes and only use this on weekends and always get asked how I get my lashes to be so long. It doesn’t clump and comes with a free sample of their mascara which also pretty darn good.
8. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette.
If you want your skin to look like it is glowing all day long, at this palette to your cart. It’s subtle yet gives you a beautiful blurred finish that makes your skin look like the best version of it self in any lighting situation (yes, even a Nordstrom dressing room). It’s intended to be a finishing powder (last step of your makeup routine). I love that there are 3 powders in one – it’s incredibly convenient. It will also last you forever.
Side note, all of the Hourglass pressed powders are really good. I love their blushes and highlighter as well and some of them even come in a mini size! Strongly recommend trying a blush too.
9. Erborian CC Creme.
I haven’t used this in awhile (have been testing new things) but it’s still the best CC creme I’ve ever tried. It miraculously evens out skin tone, dark sports, and removes redness yet it’s virtually pigment free. It’s truly an incredible product especially if your skin tone tends to be uneven. Prefer something with tint? I love this COOLA BB Cream which does have a pigment so much that it made my blog post on the best safe beauty products. Generally speaking, all the COOLA products are good especially if you’re looking for SPF!
10. Hourglass Brushes.
I’ve talked about the Hourglass brush before and I still think they are some of the best brushes out there for the price point. They are luxury brushes without being over $100 and they last for years. I still have the same blush brush I had when I left LA and it looks brand new. If you clean them properly every week, they will last so much longer than any other brush I’ve had! If you buy the Vanish Foundation above, also get their Vanish brush. It’s amazing. I also am obsessed with their double ended Veil Powder Brush. It’s perfect for #8 on this list, the Ambient Lighting Palette.
