Another Tuesday, another Trendspin Linkup. For today’s post you’re going to have to get creative with me. The theme is ‘Summer Prints and Patterns’ and I chose a three dimensional pattern. Which is totally taking me back to my Mechanical Engineering days of talking lasers and physics daily. Thank god that’s over. It’s called lace and it’s this under $50 off the shoulder.
I avoided off the shoulder tops like I avoid all insects (i.e. running, and usually shrieking, away from them as soon as they were in my line of sight) until recently. At this point of my life, I’ve just accepted that my larger than life bone structure isn’t going to shrink any time soon despite how hard I wish that scientists would invent some chemical to take care of it. However, I have yet to accept insects into my home, office, and 5 foot radius of where I am at any time. Matt is my designated bug remover and for better of for worse, he isn’t allowed to resign from that job title soon.
One of my favorite combinations lately is white and blue. It’s such an eye catching pairing. Far from the ever feminine pale pink, I’m determined to show that blues can also be girly in their own way. The bow on the off the shoulder top for example – totally reminds me of something Julie Roberts would wear in Pretty Woman, once reformed of course. And don’t we all want to be her, just a little bit? Again, after her make over. I know I would like to shop Rodeo regularly. For now though, I’ll stick to what I’m good at: finding deals on the internet.
Last thing for today before I turn you loose – it’s the 4th post in our #FBLOGGERNATION series! Make sure you check out all these ladies’ outfit posts. Today’s collaboration was sponsored by Maude boutique!
