So, it’s summer. Which means every girl in America is going to be competing for the best tan. If you’re like me, you’re not going to win that battle. As every Midwest girl knows, not seeing the sun for 7 months really starts you off on the wrong foot. A very pale, wrong foot at that. But you know how they say “fake it til you make it”? I’m not a fan of phrases like that usually but I swear there’s something to this one. So today, let’s talk about how to fake a summer tan!
And here’s the swimsuit I’m wearing – the top is $23 and the bottoms are $29! I linked to a few more affordable options too!
I keep hearing that navy is the new black. Then again, I keep hearing that [insert color/pattern here] is the new black so I guess it doesn’t mean too much… OR it just means people can be more daring with color combinations! And I’m all in although my black and tan outfit above doesn’t exactly demonstrate that. When Matt gave me this crossbody for our anniversary, I fell in love immediately. I’d been dying to add a navy bag to my closet. It’s like he sees me online shop every day while he watches baseball (on 3 devices simultaneously) or something. That’s a good midwestern boy for you, ladies! Knowing that he adores when I wear things he gives me, I planned an outfit around the bag!
