Below are all the items you’ve seen me wear or talk about on Instagram Stories!

Wednesday, August 16

This roll sleeve tunic is my go to for work! It comes in 9 colors (I own 4 and will likely own them all eventually) and is only $28! It can be worn with pants, leggings (these are my favorite faux leather ones), or tucked into business skirts or pencil skirts. So versatile!

These white skinnies are the ones I wear all the time because they really suck you in! And my mules are in today’s post with a bunch of alternative options!

Tuesday, August 15

My red corduroy skirt is old from J.Crew and I linked to similar white sweaters below! J.Crew has some really cute skirts right now and I might have just gotten myself into trouble by searching for some for you guys. I love this olive green one with the tie waist because anything you can wear with stripes is a must have. Also this woven mini comes in quite a few fun colors! If you’re committed to red, I found this red pencil skirt which would be great for a corporate office too! And this was the suede mini I mentioned that I like the cut of better – I bought it over the weekend and am excited to see how it fits!

Pumps are from Ann Taylor!

This is my “formula” for making pieces that are in between work and weekend wear more appropriate for the office! Take a structured jacket (or even a moto) and layer it over a flowy tank (recapped a few great layering tanks on sale here yesterday!). Wear your favorite skinnies and then a comfortable wedge. Because it’s Monday and my feet aren’t ready for pumps yet!

Sunday, August 13

This is my favorite type of comfy weekend outfit! I swear by these thermals – I always buy them in multiple colors because they are so easy to layer under sweaters and moto jackets when it starts getting colder! They also make for great loungewear at home or even to sleep in! Plus, thumb holes!! I am such a sucker for thumb holes! I had last year’s version of these in 2 colors and have my eye on this gorgeous burgundy this year (in addition to the oatmeal color I was wearing). It looks like the oatmeal is selling out already so I’ve linked to 2 places to find it (here and here).  It’s also a really great price for this brand!

My embroidered floral jeans are the same ones I wore to Lollapalooza and have been having fun trying to restyle for less music festival-y occasions. It’s actually proving easier than I thought! And this lace halter bra is something I legit wear all the time. I have a small chest so it works for me under so many things (I wouldn’t recommend it if you have a big chest though)! It comes in 5 colors and I also have the grey and black.

PS. If you love bell sleeves, this thermal was MADE for you!! And it comes in 4 colors!

Friday, August 11

I love this plaid shirt!! While today’s OOTD is definitely more of a ‘casual Friday’ look (that can also be worn on the weekend), a quality plaid button down can also be worn in a corporate office. This one comes in several different colors and is the softest fabric. It’s a little more pricey than the BP ones for $50 (which I also have a few of) but the quality is significantly better – specifically after a few washes. My recommendation would be to buy one of the Rails ones in a color that you would wear most since it will last the longest (hence why I picked white/grey) and then a few BP ones in different colors to supplement!

BP Plaid Shirts ($50)

My grey wedges from today have been worn a few times here and here! These are the $12 camis I have 5 of and wear under almost every top!

This outfit is definitely more business professional! You can take any sleeveless and layer your favorite button down under it to achieve that classy, office appropriate look. My outfit is old but I’ve  linked to a few ways you can recreate it. My dress is by Tahari which I recommended on Monday in my post about the 7 workwear must haves for a female professional!

The shirt I am wearing is by Jared Lang – it doesn’t look like they make women’s shirts anymore, only men. But if you have a guy in your life, they make a great gift! I always get Matt some for every occasion because he loves them so much. You can find them here at Nordstrom Rack and they’re usually on sale for a really good deal compared to the original price. Matt always gets compliments on them. They’re more of a slim fit and run true to size so if your guy likes that cut, try one! Matt wears a Medium in them but is usually a Large in t-shirts. If you get some of the polos though, I’d recommend sizing up (Matt wears a Large).

For my recommended button downs and classic pumps, check out Monday’s post!

Wednesday, August 9

This is my go to look. Whenever I have a morning where I don’t know what I want to wear, this combo is the first thing I reach for. This military jacket is the best one I’ve found in terms of it still looking fancy enough to wear to work! I have a few others too but I always go back to this one. If you’re looking for a little pizzazz when it comes to stripes, swap out this basic tee for a peplum one! Both are under $40. These red suede flats are my favorite pop of color and while they may seem like a unlikely combination, I almost always resort to wearing them.

Tuesday, August 8

Today I repurposed this $50 dress for work –  it’s also a great weekend piece. There are only a few sizes left but I found this similar button front dress which comes in black, blue, and pink (a little more fun for the end of summer). I actually really like the ties on the shoulders. Pink and black are my favorite colors in that one!

My shoes are old but these mules are by the same brand and look like they are just this year’s version! If you’re looking for a steal, these are only $30 right now and come in cognac and black. I also recently purchased these which are 40% off – this kind of texture is something that always gets me!

I love this little peplum top so much! As I mentioned on IG stories, don’t dry it if you size down and are tall!
